I'm Travis, the person behind the lens
I'm based in the San Gabriel mountains overlooking the Los Angeles basin.
Drawing on over a decade experience as a photojournalist (picture 👆 is on-assignment at Denali base camp for NBC in Alaska), I bring a storytelling perspective to every session. I've been recognized for creating impactful work, receiving two Emmy Awards and an Edward R Murrow Award.
Following my journalism career, I continued to improve my camera skills as a full-time photographer and videographer at Pomona College. Working at a highly-selective liberal arts institution has polished my craft to deliver superior portraiture fit for professional publication.
My eye for capturing the human spirit is a mix of my life experiences: a documentarian at heart, with a mind for technical camera operation.
There's incredible beauty within life's candid moments. And with some preplanning, I know we can capture those sparks of life, whether it be on film or digital.
